For You as a consumer Window Warranty is a piece of mind for years to come. When you ask most of the window sales people about Warranty, they will simply state "We have a Lifetime Warranty!". Always request and read an actual copy of the Warranty before you make any decisions. Most of the "Lifetime Warranties" are limited and prorated for important window components such as hardware, sealed glass units and vinyl frames.
Very often the biggest portion of the Warranty is "Exclustions". It means that over time you will pay some or all of the costs associated with repair or replacement if the product or installation fails. Read all of fine prints, look for all hidden labour and material charges.
