2. Who will provide warranty service for my windows and doors?
Most of the window replacement / home improvement companies do not manufacture their own windows. Some of them have more then one window supplier, and they will never tell you which company windows will be installed in your house. Window dealers will often change their suppliers to get better pricing for themselfs. Ask yourself a question: "Does the company you are considering have dedicated factory trained Customer Service personnel who can solve both manufacturing and installation issues?".
Most of the home improvement companies do not have full time service technicians and use subcontractors to provide after sales sarvice care. Even if the dealer responds, contractor does not have the product knowledge that a manufacturer has. Once again it pays to deal with full service company; that does both, manufactures and installs your new windows and doors.
